“Welcome to Excel hell”
With 10,000 stock-keeping units (SKU) and the acquisition of 4 new brands, TOPS Products, an office products manufacturer, was struggling to manage the explosion of product information. Employees were juggling enormous data spreadsheets and there was no central repository for finding up-to-date information or collaborating.
Product information management was becoming an issue.
Enter inRiver’s Product Information Management System (PIM). Moving from a manual to an automated process has enabled the TOPS team to manage their growing product content and to focus on more strategic endeavors for growing their business.
Simply put, the PIM allows the TOPS team to focus on the quality of information as opposed to its location. TOPS uses inRiver to syndicate product information (names, skus, measurements, images, etc.) across different eCommerce distributors and marketplaces, including Amazon and eBay.
